Fred Carmen Frassinelli ’47

Fred Carmen Frassinelli ’47 of Fairfield, Connecticut, died at age 84 on March 3. He joined the class as one of our civilians from Grail Prep School in the summer of 1943. He majored in art and architecture and joined Phi Delta Theta. He served six years in the military reserve. After the unexpected death of his father he joined the family business, E&F Construction Co. in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where he rose to become president. In 1992 he semi-retired, becoming a consultant with E&F Management Co. in Fairfield. He served as co-chairman of the board of the Connecticut Hospice in Branford, Connecticut, and as chairman of the board of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, Connecticut. He served as a class agent in 1983 and as a leadership chairman from 1984 to 1988. He is survived by four children, including HannaH ’76 and David ’81.
