James Francis Sheekey ’47

James Francis Sheekey ’47 died in Palm Coast, Florida, on October 9, 2009. He grew up in Bayonne, New Jersey, and joined the class in the V-12 Navy unit. He served in the Naval Air Corps and played for the Boston Red Sox for five years. He retired from Exxon Research and Engineering after 39 years and moved to Florida. He is survived by his wife and two children.
