Walter William Kliebe ’48

Walter William Kliebe ’48 died in Arcadia, Florida, on October 30, 2009. He came to Dartmouth in the Navy V-12 program. From Dartmouth he joined Bankers Trust in 1952 and moved to Lehman Bros. as a portfolio manager from 1960 to 1969. In 1970 he joined Metropolitan Life as an investment vice president and, as far as we know, remained with them until retirement. Walt was a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He married Geraldine Oberefoll in 1952; they are survived by their son Paul. Walt was loyal to Dartmouth and was recognized for participating in the alumni fund for more than 60 years.
