Margaret S. Taylor ’86

Margaret S. Taylor ’86 of Glen Rock, New Jersey, died on December 26, 2024, from complications due to dementia. Born and raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Margaret attended Phillips Exeter Academy. At Dartmouth Margaret earned an A.B. in anthropology, was involved in Delta Delta Delta, and participated in the German language study abroad program. That experience was one of her fondest memories and fostered within her a love for languages. After college Margaret continued her relationship with Dartmouth as an admissions ambassador conducting alumni interviews. She settled in Chappaqua, New York, where much of her life was devoted to raising children Sam and Olivia. Margaret was devoted to her dog Charley, appreciated a good glass of wine, and found joy and pleasure in traveling. Memories of Margaret bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. She is survived by Sam and Olivia, former spouse David, father William, and older siblings Bill and Emily. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Westchester ASPCA.
