Theodore S. Chadbourne ’55

Theodore S. Chadbourne ’55 passed away on March 16 in South Portland, Maine. He is survived by daughters Deborah, Dori, Tania, and Teri. He was predeceased by his wife, Georgia. Ted came to Dartmouth from Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine. He majored in philosophy and was a member of Alpha Theta, Green Key, cross-country and track teams, ROTC, and the Glee Club. After earning an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1959, Ted became vice president of the lumber division of P.A. Chadbourne and Co. in Bethel. He also served as president of the Northwestern Lumber Manufacturers Association and director of the Sunday River Skyway Corp.
