Hiram Jeffries Allman ’55

Hiram Jeffries Allman ’55 passed away on March 8 in Naples, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Jean, son Hiram Jr., and stepsons Adam and Jay. Raised in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Hi graduated from George School before coming to Dartmouth. He majored in sociology and was a member of Navy ROTC and Sigma Phi Epsilon. After serving as a lieutenant in the Navy, Hi began his career in property and casualty with Fidelity Bank in 1958 and joined Allman Brothers Insurance Agency in Philadelphia in 1965.
