A. Brooks Parker III ’55

A. Brooks Parker III ’55 passed away on January 10 in Weston, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife, Gale; children Julie, Brook, and Reid; and 10 grandchildren. Brooks came to Dartmouth from Waban, Massachusetts. He was a member of Dartmouth Outing Club, ROTC, and Delta Tau Delta. After graduation he earned an M.B.A. from Tuck Business School. He then served two years in the Army as lieutenant in Germany. Brooks started his business career with First National Bank of Boston. He later founded Parker Capital Management with his brother, John ’81. Brooks was active in Dartmouth alumni activities and was elected president of the class of 1955.
