Raymond Glenn Sansouci ’73
Raymond Glenn Sansouci ’73 died on February 4 after a four-and-a-half-year battle with pancreatic cancer. At the time of his death Ray and his family resided in West Newbury, Massachusetts. Ray came to Dartmouth from Pattonville High School in Maryland Heights, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. At the College he majored in engineering sciences and played varsity basketball. Ray was a member of Kappa Sigma and served as president of Dragon. After graduation Ray received a B.E. from Thayer School in 1974 and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1982. Prior to retiring in 2012, Ray enjoyed a long career in high-tech factory automation, bringing his skills and leadership to several technology companies, including Westinghouse, Siemens, Schneider Automation, Texas Instruments, Micro E, and GSI. A lifelong basketball player turned avid cornhole player, Ray was a passionate sports fan and a lover of music. He was warm and optimistic, a devoted husband and father, and a friend to many. Ray is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy, and daughters Jenny and Lisa.
