Michael Wayne Seely ’67

Michael Wayne Seely ’67 died on November 21, 2020, in Palm City, Florida, from complications associated with his near 20-year battle with cancer. Mike came to the College from Barre, Vermont, majored in English and was a brother of Kappa Kappa Kappa. After graduation he moved to New York City to obtain his M.B.A. from NYU and began a career in financial services. In 1979 Mike founded Investor Access Corp., which he built, led, and ultimately sold in 2001. In 2002 Mike relocated to Dorset, Vermont, where he enjoyed reading, playing golf, and writing several books. He is survived by his wife, Meg; sons Lucas and Michael and their partners; grandchildren Ian and Frederick; sister Breda; and niece Kelly.
