John Q. Marshall ’51

John Q. Marshall ’51, M.D., died at his home in Hernando, Florida, on August 28, 2019, the College has recently learned. At Dartmouth, John was a chemistry-zoology major and a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He earned his medical degree at Tufts University and served in the U.S. Army before beginning his medical practice in cardiology. He and his wife, Mary, raised five children and stepchildren and six grandchildren.
