Richard K. Blodgett ’55

Richard K. Blodgett ’55 passed away on April 20 in Hanover. He is survived by Ruth, his wife of 63 years, and daughters Susan and Karen. Dick came to Dartmouth from Auburn East High School in New York. He was a member of the Dartmouth Christian Union, the Dartmouth Outing Club, the Marching Band, and ROTC. After graduation he earned an M.B.A. from Tuck Business School. After completing his Army service as a second lieutenant, Dick started a career in finance with IBM that spanned 33 years. He was active in alumni affairs and served as class president and vice president.
