Arthur Lewis Pritchard ’60
Arthur Lewis Pritchard ’60 died on August 2, 2020. He was born in New York City to George and Margaret Pritchard. He graduated from Mepham High School in Merrick, New York. At Dartmouth he played the oboe in the band for four years and was a member and treasurer of Gamma Delta Phi and captain of the cross-country team. Upon graduating with a degree in electrical engineering from Thayer and Tuck, he moved to Concord, New Hampshire, married Ann-Marie, and had children Jim, John, and Diane. Ann-Marie and Arthur were later divorced. Arthur moved to Alameda, California, and briefly taught at Stanford University. He then moved into his true interest, managing real estate, and enjoyed a lengthy career in the San Francisco market. Upon retirement, he moved to Grass Valley, California, to be near son Jim. Arthur is survived by sisters Marcie and Donna and his three children.
