Harry Thomas Lewis Jr. ’55

Harry Thomas Lewis Jr. ’55 passed away on November 1, 2020, in Denver. He was predeceased by his wife, Tanya, in 2001 and his son, Colin, in 2018. He is survived by son Kevin, daughter Valerie, and six grandchildren. A native of Denver, Harry majored in art history before earning an M.B.A. from Tuck. He was a member of Sigma Nu, Dartmouth Mountain Club, Casque & Gauntlet, and Navy ROTC. After serving as a first lieutenant in the Navy, Harry began his business career in Denver as a certified public accountant with Peat Marwick & Mitchell. He established his own firm, Lewis Investments, in 1960. An active member of the Dartmouth Association of the Great Divide, Harry was one of the first in his class to receive the Class of 1955 Award. He also received the Dartmouth Alumni Award in 2003.
