Lawrence J. Fabian ’67

Lawrence J. Fabian ’67 died on February 21 in the Dominican Republic. He came to the College from Parma, Ohio, majored in mathematics and social science, and graduated summa cum laude. Upon graduation Larry went on to earn a master’s in city and regional planning from the University of Pennsylvania, after which he spent two years in the Peace Corps in Iran. Larry spent his career in transit and urban planning, first with Cambridge Systematics and later with Trans.21, publishing newsletters, consulting, and speaking at conferences around the world. He is survived by his former wife, Shemiram, and children Matthew, Mitra and Niora.
