Thomas C. Jackson ’57

Thomas C. Jackson ’57 of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, died August 6, 2019. Tom graduated from Amarillo (Texas) High School. At Dartmouth he majored in electrical engineering. He was in the Marching Band, the Radio Association, and Ledyard Canoe Club, serving as secretary and director. Tom earned his bachelor’s in engineering from the Thayer School in 1958 on the five-year plan. In 1961 he earned an M.S. in mathematics from Stanford University. Tom worked as a computer specialist with the U.S. Geological Society in Menlo Park, California. Later he was with the military in the federal government in Ohio. Tom is survived by his daughter, Denise, and his son, Keith.
