Gordon C. Andrews ’63

Gordon C. Andrews ’63 died May 29 after a brief illness. He was born in Boston and attended Edgemont High School in Scarsdale, New York. While at Dartmouth Gordon joined Navy ROTC, was a brother of Chi Phi, and was a member of the Glee Club and the Marching Band. After serving in the Navy aboard USS Pyro, he married a childhood friend, Deborah. They were married for 52 years and lived in Riverside, Connecticut. He received his law degree from NYU in 1969 and served as general counsel for several corporations before joining the New York law firm of Epstein Becker & Green in 1995 as a member of the corporate law department until retirement in 2016. He enjoyed skiing and golf, cooking and music, and said a high point was attending the Bruce Springsteen concert at the Meadowlands in 1985. Gordon leaves Deborah and three daughters.
