Michael Hurd ’59 died on July 18, 2015. He entered Dartmouth from Swarthmore (Pennsylvania) High School and majored in history. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta and played on the lacrosse team. Mike was also very active in Dartmouth alumni affairs, serving in numerous capacities, including as president of the class of 1959 and of the Dartmouth Club of Hampton Roads. He leaves his wife, Marguerite; children Michael, Jennifer, Paul and Margaret; and nine grandchildren.
