Martin Richard Gale ’67

Martin Richard Gale ’67 passed away on December 18, 2023. Marty came to the College from Elizabeth, New Jersey; majored in sociology; and was a brother of Zeta Psi. After graduation he received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, where he stayed for five years. A 40-plus-year resident of Little Silver, New Jersey, Marty was an avid sailor and runner who enjoyed doing charity work. He is a past chairman of the Central Jersey Red Cross and served on the board for a number of years. Marty is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bette; daughters Jessica and Dana; sons-in-law Sunny and Ryan; and grandsons Henry, Austin, and Grayson. He is predeceased by parents Harry and Sally and sister Joan.
