Lee J. Beattie ’57

Lee J. Beattie ’57 passed away in Los Angeles on April 24, 2016. Lee grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut, and came to Dartmouth from Cheshire Academy in 1953. At Dartmouth he majored in economics and belonged to Theta Delta Chi and Dragon. Lee had a long career in the financial services industry. He started in New York as a broker with Merrill Lynch, eventually retiring as a manager with Shearson Hammill in Los Angeles. Lee leaves his partner, Mary.
