John Robert Dale McClintock ’52

John Robert Dale McClintock ’52, a resident of North Andover, Massachusetts, passed away on May 1. “Jock” was born on January 1, 1931, and lived in his early years in Illinois, graduating in 1948 from Downers Grove High School. He graduated from Dartmouth in 1952, majored in government, and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta. Jock received a law degree from the University of Virginia in 1955, served as an officer in the U.S. Navy for three years, and earned his LL.M. from Boston University in 1962. He practiced law in the Boston area his whole career, including a partnership with Withington, Cross, Park & Groden. He and Stella Moore, his wife of 61 years, were married on May 23, 1959. For many years they also owned a home at John’s Island in Vero Beach, Florida. His wife survives him.
