Jeffrey North ’65

Jeffrey North ’65 died on August 2, 2018. Jeff passed away in Falmouth, Massachusetts, surrounded by his family, including son Christopher and his wife, Aimee, and son Michael and his wife, Allison. Jeff’s wife, Diane, predeceased him. Jeff came to Dartmouth from White Plains (New York) High School and settled in Little Hall, according to the Green Book. He majored in anthropology and was a brother in Gamma Delta Chi. After Dartmouth he joined Owens Corning Fiberglas. In the 25th reunion book, he noted, “saw a transition in life at age 42,” leaving Owens Corning as vice president of sales and moving into real estate development. He subsequently joined GAF Materials Corp., becoming East Coast regional manager. After retirement Jeff enjoyed fishing and traveling with his family and was devoted to his grandchildren, Nicole, Skylar, Aiden, Jeffrey, Boden, Collin, and Grayson.
