Harold W. Knapheide III ’67

Harold W. Knapheide III ’67 of Quincy, Illinois, died on August 28, 2018. “Knap” came to the College from Quincy High School, left after the fall term of his freshman year, and graduated from Kansas University. He returned to Quincy to marry in 1974 and work in the family business, Knapheide Manufacturing, which during his tenure became one of the largest U.S. producers of service and utility truck bodies. He is survived by his wife, Ann, and son H.W. IV.
