Glendon Martin Campbell Jr. ’52, Tu’53, passed away in San Marcos, California, on January 17. “Don” was born in New York City on June 29, 1930, and grew up in Manhasset, New York. In 1948 he graduated from Phillips Andover Academy and entered Dartmouth, where he was a business administration and Tuck M.B.A. graduate and a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon. Immediately after graduation from Tuck he joined Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati. He served them well for 36 years in a variety of sales and advertising responsibilities in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. In retirement he moved to San Marcos, where he enjoyed his love of golf at various clubs. Don and Carolyn Nolte were married while he was at Dartmouth and, in their 50-year marriage, had daughters Sandy, Jean, and Carrie. Sadly, Carolyn passed away in 2001. Don is survived by his second wife, of 16 years, Nancy Macgregor Campbell; three daughters; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
