Edward Kendall White III ’70

Edward Kendall White III ’70 died July 3, 2022. After receiving his law degree from Boston University, Ted worked for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell, and Co. in Houston before taking an in-house counsel position at Sakowitz Corp. Then “Texas Ted” started his own firm where he specialized in federal plaintiff work. In 1994 he moved to Nashville to pursue his interest in music and founded Heavenspun Studios. When not working in law or music, he loved hiking parts of the Appalachian Trail and the Rockies. Ted is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pamela, three children, and eight granddaughters.
