Ned majored in economics, was a brother in Gamma Delta Chi, and a member of the Interfraternity Council, cheerleading, and Air Force ROTC. After college he joined the family business, Keystone Plumbing Supply, working alongside his father and brother. On December 21, 1957, he married the love of his life, Debra Koff. His sculptures were exhibited in the Springfield Museum of Arts. He spent summers at the beach sailing, waterskiing, fishing, and playing tennis and winters skiing in Vermont. He enjoyed spending time in his workshop building furniture for the people he loved. He shared his passion for the outdoors and his skills as a craftsman with his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He built a treehouse and bobsled run in the backyard that his children and neighborhood children enjoyed for years. He is survived by Debra and three children.
