Donald Christian Hansen ’67

Donald Christian Hansen ’67 of Oceanside, California, died on April 9. He came to the College from Livingston, New Jersey, majored in economics, and was a brother of Alpha Theta. After graduation Don served in Vietnam prior to returning to Hanover to earn his M.B.A. from Tuck in 1972. He spent most of his career working in San Francisco and living in Marin County; he moved to San Felipe, Mexico, after retirement. His college roommate, Larry Bowen, recalls Don as a consummate do-it-yourselfer, with a woodshop in his garage and the tools and equipment to build or fix almost anything, including his favorite Alfa Romeo Spider from the 1960s and his seaside home in San Felipe. Don is survived by his wife of more than 45 years, Pamela; children, Morgan, Whitney, and Jordan; and brother Roger ’65.
