David E. Maryatt ’58

David E. Maryatt ’58, Tu’59, passed away on September 5, 2020, in Seattle, where he had lived most of his life. Dave was a five-year Tuck-Thayer student, a Sigma Chi, and sang in the freshman glee club. Dave’s career was with American Linen Supply Co., the family-owned business he expanded to nine locations in four states and then sold in 1992. Dave was an avid skier, sailor, and player of golf. He loved the skiing at Sun Valley, Idaho, and participated in the Swiftsure sailing race in Victoria, British Columbia, at least 20 times. Dave was also active with the chamber of commerce and was a trustee of the Seattle Art Museum. He is survived by his wife, Sally, two daughters, and two grandchildren.
