Taking Flight

WATCH: Indie folk duo Tall Heights, featuring Paul Wright ’07 (left), releases new video.

Tall Heights, a musical duo that got its start busking on the streets of Boston, expands its sonic palette on the new track “Spirit Cold.” According to cellist/vocalist Paul Wright ’07, the song’s lyrics discuss “how humans do terrible things to each other again and again and again, and we’re asking the question, how do we not just accept that? It’s about staying present and awake to the bad, but also the good that’s around us.” Adds guitarist Tim Harrington, “This video seeks to answer the question of the song: how do we as humans feel alive?”

The band is currently touring cities thoughout the United States.
