A Star is Born

In his major league debut,  Ben Rice ’22 singled (pictured) in his second at-bat. A few weeks later he hit three home runs in one game—a first for any Yankees rookie. His infectious smile and can-do spirit has won over even haters of the pinstripes. The lefty first baseman is the 29th alum to reach the majors and shares the dugout with former player Brad Ausmus ’91, New York’s bench coach.
