Students on e-scooters breeze along quickly and silently, often catching motorists and pedestrians off-guard as they weave through Main Street traffic and along campus paths and sidewalks. This is how students roll, some on scooters capable of going faster than 20 mph. The College has imposed rules on where they can be charged or stored—lithium batteries can present a fire hazard—but out and about, it’s pretty much: “Have scooter, will travel.” View more photos in this gallery.
