Hi, 13s. Happy winter! It’s still autumn as I write this, and I’m also filing this column on my last day of employment at Dartmouth Alumni Magazine.
Hope you’ve all been enjoying the holiday season. As I write this, I’m on the way to Hanover for my first Homecoming since leaving the East Coast for London five years ago.

Helena Eitel and Ryan Schiller have been living in Seattle for the past few years. Last year they backpacked across South America, Asia, and Africa. The backpacking trip was a long-awaited dream.
Hi, ’18s! It’s hard to believe it’s the start of another year. It’s even harder to believe that 10 years ago we were all making our way back to snowy Hanover for winter term ’15 following our first “Winterim” holiday break.
