Thomas L. Green ’58

Thomas L. Green ’58 died in Florida on October 16, 2020, after a long illness. Tom came to Dartmouth from Shaker Heights, Ohio, and moved to Miami in 1962. He was a founding brother of Phi Tau, the first Dartmouth house to go local over the discriminatory policies of its national fraternity. He was part of the Army ROTC drill team, as well as the track and wrestling teams. After earning a degree at Tuck and service in the Army, Tom worked in department store management, mostly with Jordan Marsh in Florida. Later he was president of Southern Playbill Publishing. Tom was also an adjunct professor at Florida International University and involved in many philanthropic organizations in Miami. Tom is survived by his wife, Carol, and a son.
