James W. Reed ’75

James W. Reed ’75 passed away at his home in Charleston, West Virginia, on August 8, 2014. Jim was an independent oil and gas producer and a member of the Independent Oil and Gas Association. After attending Dartmouth Jim graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in chemistry. He was a member of Christ Church United Methodist in Charleston, Clay Masonic Lodge No. 197 and Scottish Rite Bodies. He was also a former Republican national committeeman. He was an avid art collector and loved literature and the sciences. Jim is survived by his former wife, Candace, and their five children.
