John Donahoe will bring extensive business and corporate experience to his new role as athletic director at Stanford University. Donahoe served as CEO of Nike, eBay, and Bain & Company. This appointment comes a year after Stanford joined the ACC following more than a century as a member of the Pac-12.

Lindsay MacMillan reveals the inspiration behind her latest novel, Summer on Lilac Island. The story features a mother-daughter relationship in the spirit of Gilmore Girls and is set in a small town on Mackinac Island in MacMillan’s home state of Michigan.

Manya Whitaker ’06

Madam President

Manya Whitaker has been appointed Colorado College’s 15th president, having been initially appointed to an interim presidency in July 2024. She has worked at Colorado College since 2011, serving in a variety of roles including professor of education, associate chair, executive vice president, and chief of staff. Whitaker studied psychology at Dartmouth and earned a doctoral degree from Vanderbilt University.
