George Robert Snelson ’55

George Robert Snelson ’55 died on January 8 in Prescott, Arizona. He came to Dartmouth from Albuquerque. New Mexico. He majored in physics, played on the hockey team, and was a member of Chi Phi and Dragon. After completing his military service as a corporal in the Army, George returned to the Southwest to start a successful career as an entrepreneur. His enterprises in New Mexico and Arizona included ice rinks, bowling alleys, and construction businesses. He is survived by daughters Anne and Donna.
