Joel A. Farrell ’58

Joel A. Farrell ’58 died on July 5, 2021, in Arizona. He grew up in Schenectady, New York, majored in economics, and was very active in DOC and with Winter Carnival. Joel worked in consumer marketing for a number of Fortune 500 companies, including GE, Schick, Clairol, Samsonite, and Gillette. After 19 years in marketing, he became president of a small horticultural supply company and enjoyed the freedom of a small enterprise. He was a gourmet cook and an avid traveler. Joel is survived by his wife, Julie, and two daughters.
