Michael L. Bisceglia ’63

Michael L. Bisceglia ’63 died November 2, 2019, at his home in Rye, New York, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born on October 14, 1941, to immigrant parents from southern Italy. He attended Harrison High School, where he was class president two times, co-captain of the football team, and captain of the track team. At Dartmouth Mike earned a degree in environmental science and progressed to Thayer, where he earned an M.S. in engineering in 1964. He played football and was a brother of Phi Gam. After Dartmouth Mike worked for Turner Construction and then with his brothers formed Bisceglia Brothers, which was responsible for building many municipal buildings in Westchester County, New York. He was married to Elaine for 25 years and they raised four children, Patrick, Teresa, Michael, and Brett. He was later married to Mary Lou, who was his golfing partner at Westchester Hills Golf Club and nursed him during his long illness. He was an active member of his community and served on the board and as president of the board of education of the Harrison School District.
