Lisa Marie Greeley ’82
Lisa Marie Greeley ’82 passed away February 2 in Malden, Massachusetts, where she lived with husband Richard. Lisa came to Dartmouth from Somerville (Massachusetts) High School, majored in psychology, worked for The Daily Dartmouth and rowed. After earning an M.B.A. at Simmons University, Lisa worked as a commercial loan officer and was an avid golfer and tennis player. Lisa bonded with classmates Mary Fusco Adler and Julie-Anne MacDonald Anthony as Topliff hallmates from Massachusetts. “Julie-Anne called Lisa ‘Sa’ and me ‘Ry,’ ” recalls Mary. “She was ‘JA.’ We had many late nights with too much popcorn, snacks, and wine. As sophomores in adjoining singles, Richard joined the gang every weekend. Lisa was an upbeat joy to be around with a dry sense of humor. Sadly, I waited too long to drag her to reunions.” Julie-Anne noted: “Sa was humble, hardworking, and thoughtful. We were in awe of her athletic ability. She aced senior banking interviews and we roomed together in Arlington, Massachusetts, Sa going to the bank in suit, silk tie, and commuting sneakers, and I to the sticker company in jeans. We were in each other’s weddings and she gifted us a gorgeous velvet dress for our firstborn.” Classmate Donna Ferullo added: “Lisa had quiet grace and determination from freshman trip through building a beautiful home and family. She was kind, caring, ready with her smile, an idea or rowing test pep talks. Elegant, talented, devoted to family, Lisa is much loved and missed.” She is survived by Richard and sons Brendan, Kyle, and Andrew.
