Robbins Woolcott Barstow Jr. ’41 died peacefully in his home of 60 years in Avery Heights, Connecticut, on November 10, 2010.
George Bostwick Beardsley ’59 passed away on August 8 after a months-long battle with cancer. At Dartmouth George was a member of Theta Delta Chi, where he was rushing chairman, and Dragon. He was a four-year member of the Newman Club and DOC.
William C. King ’57 died on February 2. At the time of his death he was living in Tucson, Arizona. He had come to Dartmouth from Binghamton, New York.
David C. Baldus ’57 died at his home in Iowa City, Iowa, on June 13 after a 15-month battle with colon cancer.
William Vaughan Hovey ’52, of Duxbury, Massachusetts, died at home on July 26. He graduated from Newton (Massachusetts) High School and received a degree in mathematics from Dartmouth.
David Cameron Duncombe ’52 passed away at home in White Salmon, Washington, on June 18. David grew up and went to public school in Katonah, New York, where he met and married his wife of 47 years, Sally, in 1958.
John Warner Clow ’52, a resident of Sonoma, California, passed away from Parkinson’s disease at home on July 11. John was born in Denver, attended East High School there and graduated from Dartmouth with a Tuck major.
John Alexander Bartlett ’52, a 46-year resident of Portola Valley, California, died peacefully on July 1 in the presence of his family. A native of New York State, John was born in Niagara Falls and grew up in Lewiston, New York.
Mark Helfer ’51 died on June 15 at his beloved Knitson Old Farmhouse in Dorset, England, after a long illness.
