David L. Wark ’58
David L. Wark ’58, Tu’59,passed awayDecember 14, 2020. Dave came to Dartmouth from Michigan and eventually settled in Tennessee. He was a Sigma Nu, played on the football team, was active in DOC, and marched with the Air Force drill team. Dave started his M.B.A. at Tuck and completed it at the University of Chicago. He was stationed at a remote Air Force radar site in Alaska and then worked at the CIA for five years and for American Express and Reader’s Digest. Later Dave relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, and joined Vining Sparks, a money management firm. Dave volunteered for several decades with Adult & Teen Challenge of Memphis, a faith-based drug and alcohol treatment program. He loved to sail and was an avid photographer and tennis player. Dave leaves his wife of 49 years, Catharine, and son Christopher.
