John Francis Gabriel Sr. ’62 of Crofton, Maryland, died March 3 at The Willow in Macungie, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Maryann (Gargano) Gabriel.
Frederic E. Rusch ’62 of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on March 26. Born in Plymouth, Wisconsin, on April 29, 1940, Fred came to Dartmouth from Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
James R. Wojcik ’62 passed away peacefully on December 23, 2020, one day shy of his 80th birthday, at Palos Hospital in Palos Heights, Illinois. He was born December 24, 1940, the son of Bert Wojcik and Helen Lach.
Roy J. Halstead ’62 passed away on November 28, 2020, with his wife, Gabriele, at his side at a hospital in Brussels, Belgium, after suffering a heart attack. Roy arrived on the Hanover Plain from Mamaroneck, New York, in 1958.
Derek Hedley Longworth Buntain ’62 of Brackley Beach on Prince Edward Island, Canada, passed peacefully on November 29, 2020, at the Prince Edward Home. At Dartmouth Derek was a member of Phi Delta Alpha and majored in geography.
James Alden Eldridge ’62 of Denver died peacefully in his home on August 3, 2020, after a short illness, surrounded by his family. Jim was an outgoing and charismatic soul who led a full and adventurous entrepreneurial life.
Theodore F. Rochow ’62 of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away June 26 in Brooksville, Florida. Theodore was born in Greenwich, Connecticut, to Theodore and Constance Rochow on July 25, 1940. He received his A.B.
Gordon R. Williamson ’62 of Hanover died on February 15. Gordy was predeceased in 2015 by his wife of 37 years, Virginia (an adopted member of our class).
William Baschnagel ’62 died December 14, 2017, at home in Etna, New Hampshire, after a long struggle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Fran, children Josh and Siri and their families.
Michael Beachley ’62, M.D., died of cardiac disease on January 13 at home in Bakerstown, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Barbara, and children Kenneth, Barbara and William at his side. Mike received his A.B.
George Brannen ’62 died December 1, 2017. He was a Phi Delt who came to Dartmouth from Geneva, Illinois, and majored in economics. He went on to graduate with a J.D.
