Irving Dennison Booth Jr. ’45 died July 26, 2012, at the St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Facility in Elmira, New York, after suffering a stroke in August 2011.
William Allen Schmitt ’45 died on March 27, 2012. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on March 10, 1923, and came to Dartmouth from Washburn High in Minneapolis.
Louis Wiederhold III ’45, M.D., of Francestown, New Hampshire, died September 16, 2012, in Bar Harbor, Maine. He attended the William Penn Charter School, graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth and received his M.D.
James Walter Kehoe ’45 died of a heart attack December 27, 2011, in Marietta, Georgia, where he had been living in retirement. Jim came to Dartmouth from Senn High School in Chicago.
John Henry Randall ’45, M.D., passed away April 17 at his residence in Wakefield, New Hampshire. John was born in Toot Hill, New York, and came to Dartmouth from Staten Island Academy and Wagner College.
Harvey Matson Smith ’45 died on January 24 at the Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby, Ohio. He came to Dartmouth from Woodrow Wilson High School in Columbus, Ohio. Matson was born May 29, 1925, in San Francisco.
Earl Gronlund Wise Jr. ’45 of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, died June 2. He was born March 9, 1924, in Dallas and came to Dartmouth from Oak Park-River Forest High in Illinois.
Frederick Hollister Campbell ’45 died December 27, 2011, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after a long illness. He came to Dartmouth from Friend’s School in Baltimore. Fred joined the U.S.
Arthur Burgess O’Donnell ’45 died peacefully March 9 at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, Connecticut. He came to Dartmouth from Naugatuck (Connecticut) High School.
Robert Anton Roberts ’45 died February 19. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota; resided in Winnipeg and Toronto, Canada; and had come to Dartmouth from Hill School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Rod Sweeny ’45 of Hagerstown, Maryland, died December 10, 2011, at Reeder’s Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland. He was the husband of Katherine, whom he had met on a blind date from Mount Holyoke in 1943.
