July-August 2026

Class Note 2016. Hello, ’16s!
Did you know our 10-year reunion is coming up this July 24-27? Big thank you to Cecelia Shao and Martin Anguita for stepping up as our 10-year reunion chairs. See you again in five years?
Adam Grounds, cofounder of Boston-based real estate developer Copper Acres, was featured in the Valley News for his work in downtown Enfield, New Hampshire. The new neighborhood proposed, Woodbury Farm, will be a mix of one- to two-story homes in a “cottage court” with shared lawns. Grounds is quoted saying, “Our intent is very much to develop in a responsible way and to be careful with the natural resources that are available and preserve much of the site.”
Casidhe-Nicole Bethancourt and Kevin Caicedo were married on April 26 in the Ciudad Colonial in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Mr. and Dr. Caicedo-Bethancourt were engaged at Seneca Lake, New York, in December 2024. Their welcome party featured a violin and cello playing classical Spanish music. The ceremony took place in a garden and was followed by a traditional Dominican parade to lead attendees to the reception site. Casidhe writes, “The most exciting part was our hora loca at midnight, with dancers and performers on stilts.” Sounds like a party and hope you had a beautiful honeymoon!
Jared Boyce writes that he was awarded a Young Scientist Award to attend the 2026 Lindau Nobel Laureate meeting. His nomination is supported by Sigma Xi. He was also awarded the “40 Under 40 Leaders in Health Award” by the National Minority Quality Forum.
