Alan J. Johnson ’40


Alan J. Johnson ’40 (formerly Allen Julian Stein) of New York City died August 28, 2009. He came to Dartmouth from the Milwaukee Country Day School. Alan majored in English and was a member of Junto and Ledyard Canoe Club. He graduated from Long Island College of Medicine, served as a lieutenant in the Medical Corps and was a physician at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. Alan is survived by his wife, Monika.
