Warren Robert Hashagen Jr. ’73


Warren Robert Hashagen Jr. ’73 died on April 2, 2009. At the time of his death Warren lived in San Francisco, California. He came to Dartmouth from St. Peter’s High School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. At the College Warren was on the staff of both local radio stations in Hanover, WDCR and WFRD. He retired in 2001 as senior vice president (international) of Gap Inc. after 19 years with the company in various financial and accounting positions, including chief financial officer. Warren was a member of the group that launched Gap’s Old Navy brand and helped develop strategy for other Gap brands such as Banana Republic. In 2003 he became a board member of Coldwater Creek Inc. Since 1989 he was a member of the board of trustees of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, becoming the board’s chair in 2004. Warren is survived by his wife, Carla, and daughters Theodosia, Caroline and Alexandra.
