Tyler Watts Dann ’52

Tyler Watts Dann ’52 of Annapolis, Maryland, passed away on June 14, 2023. Tyler was born in New York City on May 31, 1930, and graduated from Manhasset (New York) High School and Dartmouth. At Dartmouth Tyler was an American literature major and a member of Delta Upsilon. In September 1955 Tyler and Catherine “Kay” Ellerkamp were married; she predeceased him in 2016. They raised children Kevin ’78, Melissa, and Michael, all of whom survive him. Tyler’s career was mostly in the banking business in New York. He was an officer in the real estate and property management division of Chemical Bank after earlier similar responsibilities in Citgo and Uniroyal. Tyler retired to Brightview Senior Community in Annapolis in his later years.
