Robert Jeffrey Reed II ’49 died on January 31 in Wheeling, West Virginia, where he lived. Robert came to Dartmouth from the Linsly Military Institute in Wheeling. He received his M.D. from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and spent his career at the Ohio Valley Medical Center (which his grandfather founded) as a cardiovascular surgeon. A fine player of golf, he is survived by two sons and three daughters.
