Nelson Edward Abrahamsen Jr. ’49 died on January 24, 2015, in Lakewood, Ohio, where he lived. Nels came to Dartmouth from Parma (Ohio) High School. He spent his career as an optometrist, following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps. He is survived by children Erik, Laura ’85 and Christine.
