Dean Stoddard Worth ’49 died on March 1. Dean, who lived in Lititz, Pennsylvania, came to Dartmouth from Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. Dean earned his Ph.D. from Harvard and spent his career as a professor of Slavic languages at UCLA. He is survived by his wife, Emily.
