The College celebrated its 150th anniversary of playing baseball with a banquet and reception between games of a doubleheader vs. Penn on April 9. Dartmouth’s first varsity team, led by catcher Dwinel F. Thompson, class of 1869 (front row, far right), won two of its three games during the inaugural 1866 season.
